Meet Our Master Chef

Chef Derek's lifelong passion for the culinary world began long before his graduation from the Restaurant School of Philadelphia in the year 2000. It began somewhere around the age of 5 in the "Grilled Cheese Café" as friends called it, i.e. his mother's kitchen, a place he still draws inspiration from today. Chef Derek began his career as a chef in Gatlinburg, TN where he worked for 10 years before joining Delaware North at The Gideon Putnam in 2011. He has been with the company since, supporting the team at The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex before finding his home at Latitude 105 Alehouse. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the Colorado outdoors, fly fishing, and off-roading.
